Alvin Mason

Alvin Lewis Mason was born in Alexandria, Virginia to Wesley & Annie Mason on January 15, 1957.    During his life, he touched many people. He served in the United States Military. Upon his departure from serving our country, he held many jobs. He eventually retired from the Veteran Affairs Office in Birmingham, Alabama.    He departed his earthly home Sunday, February 5, 2017.   He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Mason Sr. and brother, Charles  Mason. He leaves to cherish his life and legacy to his mother, Annie Mason, wife Linda (Reedy) Mason; daughter, Reona Reedy-Mason; son Alex Mason; granddaughters Jailyn Orr-Mason and Nilah Hobson; brothers, Jerry (Donna) Mason, Rickey Mason, Wesley Mason, Jr., and Roger Mason; sisters, Doris Mason, Peggy (Mason) Mitchell, Rita Mason, and LaShanda Mason; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
