Barbara Bell

Barbara was born on December 28,1948 in Bessemer, AL to the late Robert Lee and Jessie Mae Jones. Barbara accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Bessemer, AL. There she sung in the choir.
Soon after, she met and married SFC Bobby Joe Bell. During their union, she joined Porter Chapel CME Church where she served on the usher board. Thereafter, she joined Pure Milk Ministries where she remained until the Lord called her home.
Barbara worked for many years in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). After years of working as a CNA she decided to start her own business, Bell Family Daycare. She ran her daycare until she retired.
Barbara received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development from Lawson State Community College.
On Tuesday, May 5, 2020 she transitioned from earth to her heavenly home. Proceeding her in death, her husband SFC Bobby Joe Bell; sister, Paralee Key; sisters-in-law, Betty Allen and Lucille Bell; brothers-in-law, Donald and Eugene Bell.
Celebrating her homegoing and cherishing her many precious memories : her loving children, Morris, Tracy (Tawnya), Patrice, Bill (Shelia) and Lyshia (Dwight); a very special and devoted friend, Joe Larry Lewis Sr.; her stepchildren, Anthony (Katrina), Tonya, Uvonne (Neil), Eugene and Joe Larry Jr.; sisters, Charlotte Spicer, Betty Pritchett, Mary, Elizabeth and Bessie Rand; brothers, Jimmy Rose, Johnny and Willie Rand; brother-in-law, David (Barbara) Bell; sisters-in-law, Emily Breedlove, Georgia Deloach and Laura Gail Bell; 24 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
