Bianca Michelle Edwards began her life's journey on July 15, 1977, in Birmingham, Alabama, when she was born to her proud parents, Robert and Betty Edwards.
The educational path for Bianca started in kindergarten at Saint Aloysius Catholic School in Bessemer, Alabama. After graduating from kindergarten, Bianca enrolled at Saint Francis of Assisi in Bessemer, Alabama, and completed the first four grades of elementary school at Saint Francis. Bianca then requested an opportunity to experience education in the public school system and enrolled at Glen Oaks Elementary School in Fairfield, Alabama, in the fifth grade and completed middle school at Forest Hills School in Fairfield, Alabama, in May, 1991.
Bianca then decided that she wanted to return to the catholic school system and was enrolled at John Carroll Catholic High School in the ninth grade. Throughout high school, Bianca was an active member of the John Carroll Marching Band and the Concert Band. During her senior year at John Carroll, Bianca also performed with the Theatre Group. Bianca graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School in May, 1995.
After completing High School, Bianca matriculated at Lawson State Community College and earned the Associate in Applied Science Degree in Accounting in May 1998. In August 1998, Bianca enrolled at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to pursue a Bachelor's Degree. In May, 2000, Bianca earned the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Stillman College.
Bianca was introduced to the world of work early while in high school when she was employed part-time at Little Caesar's Restaurant and later at Macy's (formerly Rich's) department store during her junior college years. After graduating from Stillman College, Bianca became a member of AmeriCorps with the University of Alabama Civitan and proudly served for two years caring for people with disabilities. This care included compassionate companionship, supervision to staff members and tutoring for K-12 and junior college students within the UAB Civitan Service Area. Bianca was also employed at Bell South (the new AT&T) and with the Southwest Water Company before obtaining employment with Central Alabama Water (formerly the Birmingham Water Works Board),
Although Bianca had a rich employment experience during her time on earth, her employment and tenure with the Central Alabama Water (formerly the Birmingham Water Works Board) as a Call Center Representative was the position that she enjoyed most of all. She was always eager to provide great customer service to the water works customers. This task was easy for Bianca because she was blessed with a kind heart and a desire to provide great service to others when performing her duties at work. Bianca received a number of awards of recognition during her college career, part-time work at Macy's and during her employment for the Central Alabama Water. She received the "Employee of the Month" Award twice from the Central Alabama Water. Bianca was a bonded Notary Public since September 3, 2013. Following in the footsteps of her sister, Marsha, Bianca was a part-time AVON agent for a few years.
In August, 2023, Bianca was accepted into the Percy J. Vaughn College of Business Administration (COBA) Graduate Program at Alabama State University, Montgomery, Alabama. At the time of Bianca's demise, she was only three courses away from completing the Master of Business Administration (MBA Online) Program.
Bianca was baptized at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church by Father Vernon Huguley. She became an active member of Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church and served on the Ladies Altar Sodality and Co-Chaired the Belk Charity Sale Event for several years.
Bianca departed this life on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. She was presided in death by her father, Robert C. Edwards, her grandparents: Joe and Thelma Bell, Robert and Henrietta Edwards, her aunts by affection: Carolyn Means Norris and Marjorie L. Wrench.
