Brenda Long

Ms. Brenda Joyce Long was born April 19, 1957 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Joseph Long Jr. and Carolyn Lee Long. Today we celebrate her life.
Brenda grew up and lived in Bessemer most of her life. She graduated from Jess Lanier High School in 1975 and went onto study Calculus at Bessemer State Tech. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and rededicated her life in 2006!
She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family immensely! She never met a stranger and was affectionately known to many as “Cookie”.
She departed this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and her brother.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Karesia Williams (Tavoris) and Kaysia Long; two granddaughters, Chameya Brihm and Kenadie Johnson; two grandsons, Devin Johnson and Jayden Williams; a sister, Wanda Long and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
