Calvin L. Robinson

Calvin Lee Robinson, Sr. was born to the late Joshua Ruffin and Odessa Phillips on April 26, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age.
He deidcated over 40 years of hard work to U.S. Pipe and Stockham Valve. Calvin enjoyed spending time with his family above all. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and brother.
On June 26, 2020, Calvin transitioned from his earthly home to be with his heavenly father.
He was preceded in death by his son, Calvin L. Robinson, Jr.; grandmother, Minnie C. Robinson; sisters, Irene E. Bell and Lucy Mae Ruffin Lewis; and brothers, Ronnie G. January, A.C., Joe Lee, Claude, Mayso and Jerry.
His precious memories will be cherished by a devoted and loving wife, Deborah Robinson, Brighton; son, Tyrus Robinson, Brighton; sisters, Earline J. Mays, Bessemer, Caroyln F. Johnson, Fairfield, Jackie Ruffin and Cassandra D. January, Birmingham; brothers, Paul E. January, Midfield, Rev. Alfonza (Mollie) January, Sr., Bessemer, Lee Arthur January, Midfield, Lawrence B. (Peggy) January, Bonair, GA, Tyrone (LaMarta) January, Birmingham, and Melvin D. (Karen) January, Detroit, MI; grandchildren, Jonah, Tytianna and Christian; mother-in-law, Ruby Harris; sisters-in-law, Vera Harrell, Janice Culpepper and Patricia Cornigee; brothers-in-law, Walter and Donald Harris; special nephews, Tommie Therford and Derrick Harris; special nieces, Kim Theford, Angela James and Shante; and a host of other nephews, nieces, family and friends.
