Charles Medley

Charles W. Medley, Jr. was born on October 17, 1948 in Bessemer, Alabama to the late Flora Mae and Charles W. Medley, Sr. He confessed Christ and joined Allen Temple AME Church. Charles attended Dunbar and Abrams High School. He was employed at Montclair Hospital in the Dietary Department for 43 years until he retired in 2013. Charles departed this life on June 25, 2017 at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Left to cherish his memories: daughter, Twila (Chester) Melton, Birmingham, AL; sons, Berman (April) Woods and Anthony Medley both of Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren; sisters, Flora Jean Medley, Barbara Ann Medley and Shirley Jean Medley all of Bessemer, AL; brothers, Curtis and Glenn Medley both of Bessemer, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and many friends.
