Mr. Clarence James Price, Jr., affectionately known as "Pops." He was born on December 21, 1959, in Bessemer, Alabama to the late Clarence James Price, Sr. and Mary Smith Price. He departed this life, Monday, August 18, 2025, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.
Clarence confessed Christ at an early age. After enlisting in the United States Air Force as a system armament specialist he rededicated his life unto the Lord and was baptized in The Name of Jesus Christ according to Acts 2:38 and was filled with the gift of The Holy Ghost in 1985, under the leadership of Elder Worsham.
He attended West End High School but later transferred to Jones Valley High School in his senior year. He met and married his 'Always and Forever' Elizabeth Diane Reeves Price. They were blessed with five beautiful children and continued their love for God and each other.
Clarence was a loving son, husband, Dad, and Grandpa. As the years presented him grace
and spiritual maturity he learned to enjoy and embrace the family God gave him.
He enjoyed working on anything that needed to be repaired, and working in the yard. He was a professional electrician and was employed with GT Key in Montgomery, Alabama. He was well skilled in multifaceted occupations. He also enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
His legacy will continue to live on through his family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Price; his Dad, Clarence James Price, Sr.; a son, Joshua DeWayne Price as well as other cherished relatives.
His memory will forever be cherished by: his wife, Elizabeth D. Price, daughters, Tamika M. (Marcus) Washington and Mary E. (Demetrius) Leonard, and Jesika Stone; sons, Clarence J. (Jeanette) Price, III, and Matthew D. Price; eight grandchildren, Jerimiah D. and Jayda E. Price, Marleigh C., Maleah D., Mars J.C. Leonard, Makayla J. and Myles C.J. Price, and Marcus D.
