Sister Cleophus Spencer Redmon was born February 15, 1932, in Bessemer, Alabama. Her parents were the late Lillie Hatten Spencer and John Spencer.
During her formative years she lived in Bessemer, Alabama wherein she attended elementary school.
She confessed Christ later in life and was united with Restoration Revival Tabernacle in Bessemer, Alabama. She served faithfully until she could no longer do so due to her health. She imparted the word of God in her daily walk.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late George Redmon Jr. on December 13, 1947, and their union was blessed with three sons.
She departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 6, 2018 to begin her heavenly life with her Lord and Savior.
Preceded in death by a son, Raleigh Gene Redmon and brother, Willis Johnson, Jr, she leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, John Redmon, Bessemer, Alabama and Joe Redmon, Monroe, Georgia; one granddaughter, Tracy Redmon, Bessemer, Alabama; two great grandchildren; two devoted nieces, Bridget (Derrick) Lovelace and Yolanda (Frank) Davis; a nephew Timothy (Sharon) Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
