Earnest Lacey

Mr. Earnest Edward Lacey was born on April 1, 1971, to the late George and Annette Lacey in Jefferson County, Alabama. He attended Bessemer City School system. Upon receiving his G.E.D, he went on to pursue his education in which he earned his CNA certification.
Earnest, affectionately known as “Rex’”, was a very funny person to be around and he definitely didn’t meet any strangers.
On Sunday, April 3, 2022 he was called home.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Lacey, Jr, and Annette Lacey, and a brother, Timothy Lacey.
Earnest is survived by his siblings: two brothers Kelvin Lavert and Rodney Dunlap; three sisters, Charlita Gaulden, Tonya Lacey, and Catrice Lawrence. He was loved affectionately by a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
