Eddie Lee Shelton

Eddie Lee Shelton was born October 20, 1951, in Pineapple, Alabama, to the late Emma Waters Shelton and the late Eddie Lee Cunningham.

He went to school in Beatrice, Alabama. Then, his family relocated to Bessemer, Alabama in the early seventies.

For more than 30 years, he was a dedicated worker at Coca-Cola Bottling Company before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Waters Shelton and Eddie Lee Cunningham; sisters, Sadie Mae (Richard) Curry of Pineapple, AL, Hattie Mae (Ray) Green of Los Angeles, CA, Priscilla Shelton of Bessemer, AL and Ruby Lee Moss of Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Climmie "Bobby Red" Shelton of Beatrice, AL and T.P. Shelton of Bessemer, AL and a nephew, Alfonzo "Jit" Minniefield of Birmingham, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted son, Gary Lee (Candice) McCormick of Pleasant Grove, AL; two granddaughters, Aleah Renee' (RJ) and Gracie Lei; one great grandson Ale'; sister, Eloise Minnifield of Jackson, MS; brothers, Pastor Jeff (Terona) Cunningham of McCalla, AL and Donald Shelton of Tuscon, AZ; a special nephew, Thomas "Big Red" Curry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
