Edgar Webster

OBITUARY     He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church in West Highland, AL.  He later joined First Baptist Church Carver in Bessemer, AL. He was united in holy matrimony to Doris Webster on May 30, 1970 and to  this union they were blessed with three children. His life will forever be cherished in the lives of: his wonderful wife, Doris Hines Webster; children, Eric Webster, Erica (Reginald) Curry and Derrick (Bernadette) Webster, all of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Eric Avery, Ashley Curry, Aaron Avery, Juwan Jones, Ebony Jones, Reginald Trey Curry, Camryn Curry and Derrick Webster, Jr.; great grandchildren, Eric Avery, Jr., Ja'khari Jones, Rhythm Avery and Jace Jones; brothers, Ronald (Cora) Webster, Arnold ( Queen) Webster and Gregory (Edith) Webster; sisters, Barbara Webster Boyd, Annette (Richard) Webster-Dial and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends.   Edgar Webster Jr. is still my name and I still love all of you just the same. My words no longer come out; but if I could I think I would shout.  God has sent his angels to set me free, Oh how happy he has made me.
