Grady Jenkins

Grady Isam Jenkins was born on October 7, 1966 to Alene Williams and Grady Isam Rocca in Providence, RI. Grady attended and graduated from Wenonah High School. Grady confessed hope in Christ at Mt. Herman Baptist Church in Brownsville, Alabama where Reverend Elliot Evans serves as Pastor. Later in life Grady was united in holy matrimony to his best friend Keishana Jenkins under God’s eye on May 13, 2013. Grady was employed with the City of Birmingham Public Works department. On Wednesday November 1, 2017 Grady was called to heaven from the troubles of this world. He was preceded in death by: son, Barry ”BJ” Edwards; fathers, Grady Isam Rocca and Abe Johnson; grandparents, Reatha Williams and Phillip Williams, Sr.; brother, Rickey D. Battle; nephew, Dante Hall. He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Keishana Jenkins; children, Shunnasty Lowe, Rashad Jenkins, Rey Julian Jenkins, Baby Grayson Jenkins, Vidale Rodquize Chamblin, Jr., Nikita Mahone, Brittany Lindsey, LaPorsha Jenkins, Qui’nonice Page, Tyesha Davis, Shannon Jenkins, Kennedy Jenkins, Khloe Jenkins and Davoria Matthew; 12 grandchildren; loving mother, Alene Johnson; brothers, Bobby (Doris) Jenkins, Kenny (Brenda) Jenkins, Jason (Melissa) Lopes, Christopher Battle, Justin McClorin and Sean (NaKosha) Jenkins; sisters, Ashley McClorin, Patricia and Antangela Battle; two special sisters-in-law, Connie “BJ” Perkins and Keisha Combs; and a host brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Grady was loved by many and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
