Henry Beckwood

“The Lord is my Shepard I shall not want “ Brother Henry Beckwood was born June 17, 1951 to the late Henry James and Annie Lee Beckwood. At an early age Henry confessed Christ at under the pastorate of Reverend  B.B. Strowder. Brother Beckwood attended the Bessemer School System graduating from Brighton High School. Upon his completion of high school he attended Bessemer Technical College. He met and married Carolyn Stanton and to this union they raised three children.  He was preceded in death by his son, Dale Eakins. He lives to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Carolyn Stanton Beckwood; four daughters, Sabrina Bell, Lisa Moore, Tenille Coleman all of Bessemer, and April (Mark) Little of Fairburn, GA; five sisters, Laura Jackson, Cornelia Smith, DeVera Burroughs, Donna Beckwood and Jennifer Woods, all of Bessemer, AL; four grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 2 sisters- in-law; 4 brothers- in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
