Joe Hollamon

Joe Hollamon, Jr. was born to Joe and Ida Hollamon on May 16, 1925 in Bessemer, Alabama and later on moved to Birmingham, Alabama. Joe was introduced to Christ at an early age he joined Greater Fourteenth Street Baptist Church under the pastorate of Reverend Turner. He attended the Bessemer City School System and retired from Brist Stell. He departed this life on July 12. 2015 he was preceded in death by his father, mother, and son. He leaves to cherish his memories: a very special friend, Ida Cook; daughters, Helaine Pearson, Milissa (Williams) Gray, Darlene Boyd, Kim Cook, Joanna Cook, Lily Cook and Ruth Cook; sons, Terry Osburn, Robert Hollamon and Tommy Cook; grandsons, Chris Hollamon, Robert Hollamon, Antonio Osburn, Tadarius Hollamon and Maurice Hollamon and granddaughters, Lujuan Cook, April Williams, Tashika Hollamon and Latoya Giles.
