Obituary The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm 23:1 Mr. Johnnie James Rayford was born on November 15, 1926 in Jefferson County, Westfield, Alabama to James and Charlotte Rayford. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church, Roosevelt City. He attended Roosevelt City and Brighton High School. Johnnie was employed and retired from Woodward Iron Company where he worked for more than 30 years; he was also employed at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. On August 11, 1962 he married Adell Stone and to this union three children were born. He was preceded in death by: parents, James and Charlotte Rayford and a daughter, Dorothy Russell. He departed this life on July 5, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, Louis Rayford, Johnny E. (Valarie) Rayford and Ricky R. Rayford; daughter, Tiffney (Christopher) Jackson; proud grandfather of five, Cameron Rayford, Johnny E. Rayford, Jr., Rachael (Harry) Little, Taylor Rayford and ArynStone Rayford; four great grandchildren; sister, Gloria (Charles) Wilson; special cousin, Geneva Horn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
