Ke'Mauri Lacey

Ke’Mauri Jasiel Lacey, seven days old, transitioned with his parents Jac’Terrius Lacey and MaKayla Torrance by his side on April 20, 2022, at UAB Women’s and Infants Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ke’Mauri was only with us seven days, but he was loved greatly by friends and family. Ke’Mauri’s life has filled our hearts with love that will last an eternity. His presence was Heaven-sent and was a blessing to us all. God chose him to be an angel of guidance, protection and love.
He will forever be loved by his mother, MaKayla Torrance; father, Jac’Terrius Lacey; grandparents, Carl and Brenda Thomas, Gwendola Hughes (JJ), Jack Lacey (Timika Bester) and Shannon Thomas; great grandparents, Willie Mae Thomas, Bobbie Jean Lacey and Josephine Rhone; aunts, Barbara Bruce, Johnetta (Cojack) Hughes, Mary Sims, Shirley Wright (Bobbie), Trinidell Hughes, Betty Crosby, Christine Shelton, Alicia Thomas, Sharon Rhone, Sharon Jeff, Demetrias Freeman, Nikkie Bell and Kayla Stoger; uncles, Rube Hughes, Jr., Joseph Jones, Ned Simpson, Chris Thomas, Malik Torrance, Demetrius Rhone, LaDarius Rhone and Jamal Jones; special cousins, Mickelah and Mickiah Burroughs, Mariah and Malaysiah Peterson and Martaevius Hughes along with a host of loving and devoted cousins and friends.
