Louise Guice

Louise Rhodes Guice was born on June 29, 1922 in Bessemer, Alabama. She was the fourth born of eight children from the union of Lee Oliver Rhodes and Cassinda Abbot Rhodes. Louise spent her life sacrificially serving her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in her home, on her job, in her community, and at her church. She was a devouted and fatihful member of God's Church. Louise was a tenderhearted, compassionate person who believed in unselfishly giving her time and resources to anyone in need. Before she became ill, Lousie spent quality time each day in the study and meditation of God's Holy Word as well as time in prayer. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter: Nina Byrd (Richard); four grandchildren: Richard Byrd, Kia Davis (Delton), Noah Byrd, and Johnathan Byrd and three sisters.
