Reflection of Life
Luella Williams, affectionately known as Lue, was born to the late Mary Jane & Willie Williams on March 14, 1936 in Livingston, Alabama. During the early years of her life she was reared by her Aunt Ethel. The family relocated to Vicksburg, Mississippi where she received her early education in the Vicksburg School System.
Once Luella was older, she relocated to Bessemer, Alabama and began to establish her life. During that time she worked for several different employers. She was a proud mother to her eight children, Luther, Willie Dee, Lorraine, Ethel, Vernell, Shelia, Susie and Anthony. Luella was preceded in death by two children, Luther Williams and Ethel Wynn Mott; brothers, Joseph, Sr., Frank, Sr. and Melvin Williams and sister, Ruby King.
Left to cherish her precious memories are six children, Willie Dee Williams, Lorraine Pringle, Vernell Williams, Shelia (JR) Brown, Susie Williams and Anthony Williams; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Alice Currington and Louise Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
