Malachi Jackson

Life’s Journey Malachi Jackson, Jr. was born on August 28, 1938 in Bessemer, Alabama to Malachi Jackson, Sr. and Lucille Early. He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend John Saunders at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, where he served, worshipped, and worked until his homegoing. Malachi served our country in the U.S. Air Force; after which he began his family. He has six children. He took care of his children with loving kindness. He provided, nurtured and guided them into adulthood. Malachi did not meet a stranger. He was one his family, friends and even strangers could depend on if they ever need anything. Preceding him in death was his father, Malachi Jackson, Sr. He leaves to celebrate his life: children, Anitra (Harry) Carey, Reggie (Arrie) Jackson, Brenda Carter, Vincent Jackson, Joseph Jackson and Krystal Cotton; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; mother, Lucille Early; brother, Antwon Dedrick; sister, Classy Evans; godson, Derrick Williams and a host of family and friends
