Mary Beamon

Obituary
Mary Kate Beamon was born March 8, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama to Lorene Mays Holmes. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bethel Baptist Church. Mary was a dedicated worker for thirty years at Polar Locker and later working at Fourth Avenue Supermarket for twenty years until her health started to decline.
She is preceded in death by: mother, Lorene Mays Holmes; son, Roderick Beamon; son-in-law, Jerome Freeman.
Mary Kate leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughters, Verlesia (Demetrius) Webb of Hoover, AL, Barbara (Felix) Minter of Midfield, AL and Lawanda Freeman of Pinson, AL; sons, James Beamon, Jr. and Tarus L. Beamon both of Bessemer, AL; grandchildren by blood and love, Michael Scaife, Ashley N. Webster, Kendall Beamon, Matthew Scaife, Demetrius Beamon, Keona Beamon, Monshay Stallers, Jardee Sanders, Moriah Beamon, Tierra Amison, Tarderrious Amison, Tarus Bryant, Faith Smith, Amaria Yelling and Brittany Brinson; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
