Mary T. Joseph was born September 3, 1936 to the late Antwane and Rose Joseph in St. Lucia, West Indies. Mary was a graduate of Anse LaRaye Roman Catholic School and attended nursing school. She worked as operator for the St. Lucia cable and wireless company and later dedicated herself to taking care of others as a nurse caregiver for over 20 years. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age at Anse LaRaye Roman Catholic Church and later moved to St. Croix, Virgin Islands where she became a member of Fredricksted First Assembly of God. She was united in holy matrimony to Erva Montgomery Benjamin and to this union they were blessed with two sons, John and Larry Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Erva. Her life will be forever cherished by: sons, John (Claire) and Larry Benjamin; three granddaughters, Tiffany, Jada, and Melissa; two great-granddaughters, Somaya and Ariana; three devoted caregivers, Michael Moore, Adrienne Gordon, Tevida Netherly and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.
