Olivia M. Bizzell was born on March 29, 1935 to the late Jerymier and Orline Crawley Moore in Sumpter County, Alabama. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and united with Easter Star Baptist Church in Demopolis, Alabama.
The family relocated to Marengo County, where she attended U. S. Jones High School. The family later moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she attended and graduated from Industrial High School.
In 1954 she married the late U. C. Bizzell and moved to Jefferson County, Alabama. To this union four children were born, two of them preceded her in death. Her twins, Ricky Glenn and Vicky Gwen Bizzell and her stepson, Alex Daniels.
In 1956 after the birth of her third child she joined the Sixth Avenue Beulah Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Samuel Marshall where she remained a faithful member until her passing. She had the privilege of serving under three pastors: Reverend Samuel Marshall, Reverend Aaron Johnson and the now current pastor, Reverend Freddie Green, III.
Olivia loved her church where she worked in various roles until her health failed. She served as President of the Number 2 Usher Board for over 50 years a role that she loved dearly. She also served on the Trustee Board, as well as, the Kitchen Committee.
On March 29, 2026 the family celebrated her 91st birthday. Later that night God called her to her eternal rest.
