Omega Lynn Levins

Omega Lynn Owens Levins was born in Fairfield, Alabama to Neal Owens, Sr. and Eloise McKinstry Owens.

Lynn accepted Jesus Christ into her heart as a child and united with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Fairfield, under Pastor R. A. Anderson. Later she joined the Forty Sixth Street Baptist Church family. She loved singing and was blessed with a beautiful voice, which she used to glorify our Lord and Savior.

She attended and graduated from Fairfield City Schools. She was employed by the United States Postal Service.

Lynn was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mattie Owens Sams and brother, James Owens.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving daughter, Megan Levins; grandsons, Donnell Miller, Jr. and Stanley Miller; brothers, Neal Owens, Jr. (Pamela), George Owens, Sr. (Bernadine); brother-in-law, Elijah Sams, Jr.; sisters, Ella Lovejoy (Melvin), Nora Hill (Martin) and Ora Owens; sister-in-law, Gloria Owens; nephews, Neal Owens, III (Yakina), George Owens, Jr. (LaTonya), Michael Sams and LaDarius Owens (Porscha); nieces, Michelle Harris (Samuel), DeWanna Owens, Kimberly Moss (Bishop), Martinese Dudley (VaShawn), Maria Hill, Kristin Lovejoy, Jamelia Dennis (JaQuin) and Jasmine Studdard (Justin); six great-nieces, three great-nephews, five great-great-nieces, fifteen great-great-nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
