Patricia C. Moore, the daughter of the late Mr. Wilbur Crear, Sr. and Mrs. Roxanna Crear was born December 2, 1954. She confessed her love of Jesus Christ and was Baptized at Bethel AME Zion Church. Mrs. Moore served faithfully in the Choir, Local Lay Council President, Culinary Committee, Missionary Superintendent of the Buds of Promise, and Church sponsor of the Boy Scouts.
Patricia married her Jr. High School sweetheart, Mr. Bobby E. Moore and they made their home in Roosevelt, Birmingham, Alabama.
Pat, as her classmates called her, was a product of Wenonah High School, a proud member of that dynamic class of 1973. She worked with the GPL Flair Catering Service along with her cousins, George and Louise. Patricia was employed with the Birmingham City Schools Transportation system and retired in 2012.
Patricia, “Faye to her family”, had a very bubbly personality, she loved cooking (a mean chicken salad), sewing, dancing, most of all traveling. She was always planning a family event or trip. She was the “Go To” Person in the family and the neighborhood, If you needed food or clothing, go see Faye, if you needed somewhere to stay, go see Faye, even if you needed a loan, go see Faye. She loved children and they loved her, so quite naturally she was the “Go To” babysitter and they all called her Tee Faye.
Mrs. Moore’s only son, Demetrious A. Moore preceded her in death.
