Regina Delores Stephenson

Sister Regina D. Stephenson was born October 11, 1950, to the late Richard Stephenson and Thomastine Lacey.

At an early age, she confessed Christ at St. Mark A.M.E. Church. She served on the Trustee Board and sang in the Junior and Senior Choir where she once served as Choir President.

After attending Brighton High School, she earned a degree in Business from Birmingham Southern Jr. College. She was not afraid of a challenge and was a dedicated employee before retiring.

Regina was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. During her early years, her passion and delight were nurturing her two sons. Family always came first in her life.

On Sunday, September 8, 2024, Jesus called her to eternal life. As she entered the gates with praise, she was welcomed home by her son, Christopher Williams; mother, Thomastine Lacey; stepfather, James Lacey and sisters, Geraldine Stephenson and Carolyn Chandler.

Cherishing her precious memories are her son, Carlton, Sr. (Cherese) Williams of Atlanta, GA; sister, Cheryl (Roland, Sr.) Brown; brothers, Randy (Michelle) Stephenson, Ralph Lacey and Raymond Lacey; grandchildren, Quintina (Manuel) Warren, Carlton, Jr. (Malia) Williams, Carlyn Williams and a host of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
