Ricky Rice

Ricky Alvin Rice was born on December 30, 1959 to the late Amos and Winnie Rice.
He was the fifth of nine siblings. He exchanged life for eternity on March 15, 2022 at home surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Dorothy Jean Shepherd.
He was educated in the Bessemer School System. He was an avid Alabama and Pittsburg Steelers fan. Although Ricky was often thought of as quiet and shy.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 34 years Shannon Rice, a daughter Tolicious (Jerome)Brown, grandson De’Arieus “Lil Rick” Lacey, four sisters: Shelia Hall, Sharon (Orlando) Furr, Sherri (Ray) Sullivan, Janice Faye(Guathier) Simpson, three brothers: Amos (Julia) Rice Jr., Bennie (Christine) Lewis, Joe Larry Lewis, a caring and dedicated nephew, Antoine (Yolonda) Rice, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
