Riley Jones

Riley E. Jones was the second child born to Mr. Monroe and Mrs. Callie Jones on August 5, 1924 in Demopolis, AL. His parents preceded him in death, and he was raised by his grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. M.E. Jones. Riley served in the US Navy and served active duty in World War II. He was happily married for over sixty-five years to the love of his life, Lillian. To this union one son, Riley Jones Jr. was born, who also preceded him in death. He is survived by a loving and devoted wife, Lillian Jones; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Dooley; a very awesome and caring niece, Jacqueline Smith who cared for him; a special son, Jeremy Sullivan; a loving, devoted caregiver, Claude Harris; three nephews and one niece.
