Sammy Thomas

Today we celebrate the life of Mr. Sammy Lee Thomas. When he was born, Doctors said he would not live past five years old, but God had a different plan. Sammy lived 67 years surrounded by a loving family who made sure that his "every need" was met. Sammy loved to watch television and "Popeye" cook. He always greeted family and visitors to "the house" with a handshake. He was allowed only six cigarettes a day, and he never failed to remind Mildred when it was time for his smoke break. He always waited for "Shug' and "Niecy" to come by every afternoon. Even though we knew that Sammy was limited, God had His hands on him as He loves all of His children. Just imagine Sammy meeting Jesus with his familiar handshake. We will all miss his presence in our lives! He will be missed and memories cherished by: Mildred, Levi, Mary, Lindrick, T-Stella, T-Pie, T-Dot, Uncle Junior, Ron, Nakia, Corey, Devin, Coreyé, Zariah, other family members and friends.
