Sandra Faye Paige Moody was born June 5, 1948, in Fairfield, Alabama to Will Paige and Marie Hunter Paige.

Sandra Faye accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of eleven and was baptized at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

She remained active in Christian service throughout her lifetime as she maintained active membership in Atlanta, Georgia and Brighton, Alabama. While living in Atlanta, she was a church mother of Cope Ministry (Word Alive Christian Center) under the leadership of Bishop Howard E. Franklin.

She was a member of New Direction Ministries in Brighton under the leadership of Apostle Michael Wren.

Her favorite scripture was I Corinthians 16:14 and her favorite hymn was "Blessed Assurance."

She was educated in the Jefferson County School System and attended Brighton Schools. She was a proud graduate of the Brighton High School Class of 1966. While at Brighton, she participated in the school choir. After high school, she attended Barbara Darr Beauty College.

As a young woman, she married Lester Earl Moody, Jr. and to this union three children were born and raised: La'Tina, Leslie, and Lester Sandor.

After leaving her hometown of Brighton, Alabama, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia with her family and established their homestead.

Throughout her life in Atlanta, Georgia, she worked as a supervisor in various hospitality roles. Her jobs included Grady Hospital, Georgia World Congress Center, Sheraton Hotel, and the Hyatt Regency. She was an assistant caregiver at Brooks In-Home Daycare.

In retirement, after leaving Atlanta, she enjoyed her daily visits and activities at the Brighton Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed the fellowship and inspiring activities with fellow seniors.

Sandra left her earthly home and moved into her heavenly reward on Friday, December 5, 2025. She will be greeted at her new heavenly home by her husband, Lester Earl Moody; her parents, Deacon Will and Marie Paige; her grandmother, Lula Hunter; her brother, Wilbert Paige; two sisters, Delores Weatherspoon and Annette Muchena; her niece, Kandis S. Paige; four nephews, Tommy, Anthony, Joseph, and Ahmad; her aunt, Jimmie McKissick; her sister-in-love, Diane Little; her bonus son, Raymond Law.

She leaves her love and cherished memories with her two daughters, La'Tina DM Brooks of Brighton, AL; Leslie Moody Poole (William) of Atlanta, GA; one son, Lester Sandor Moody of Brighton, AL; five grandchildren, La'Darius Brooks (Iman), Tichina Brooks, Sa'Quetta Poole, William Poole, III, and La'Dorian Moody; seven great grandchildren, Brayden Brooks, Marley Brooks, Aria Brooks, Ti'Lan Harkness, Rodrigo Brooks, Za'Darius Brooks and Jream Lawson; four sisters, Lula Echols of Fairfield, AL, Adella Paige of Brighton, AL, Twyanna B. Means (Larry) of Pleasant Grove, AL and Sharron A. Paige Whitaker of Atlanta, GA; three brothers-in-law, Pastor Adolphus Moody (Carlene), Larry Moody (Beverly), and Kenneth Moody (Brenda); bonus daughters, LaTonya Monett and Demetria Billings (David); a special cousin, Veronica Hunter and lifelong friends, Felecia Jackson, Diane Trimble, and Jeanette Toney and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
