Ms. Seabie Ann Harris Canada was born on June 18, 1951, to the late Arwilder Harris. From the very beginning, she brought joy and warmth to those around her and grew to become known for her kindness, strength, and loving spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Arwilder Harris, and her siblings, Raymona, Willie Charles, James, and Melvin, all of whom she cherished dearly.
At an early age, Seabie confessed Christ and developed a strong foundation of faith that remained with her throughout her life. Her spiritual relationship served as a guiding light during her life's many seasons.
Seabie was educated in the Birmingham City School System, where she formed lasting memories and friendships. Later, she began a long and dedicated career with U.S. Pipe in Bessemer, faithfully serving for 34 years before retiring. Her commitment and strong work ethic earned the respect of her coworkers and all who knew her.
She possessed a loving spirit and always had a warm smile. In her leisure time, she found joy in reading. Also, she took great pleasure in sharing kindness and love with others, mainly those near and dear to her heart.
The love and memories Seabie leaves behind will forever be cherished and remain in the hearts of her two daughters, Robbie D. Sims and Carole (Derrick) Battle; son, James Canada; grandchildren, Kajuanna Harris, Terranique Harris, Jerica Peals, Jamecia Young, ShaTorian Minter, Carlyn (Darrius) Carey, Amauri Minter, and Morgan Battle, Kam'Ron Winston, Ayden Rhodes, Aubrey Hackworth and Cylan Carey; great-grandchildren Kam'Ron, Ayden, Aubrey and Cylar; sister, Helen Sullivan; a host of other family members and friends.
