Stella Mae Allen

Stella Mae Allen was born on December 23, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Annie Minor.

She attended and later graduated from Carver High School.

Early in her life, Stella married Johnny Mac Crum, and two children were born to this union: Tracy Valencia Crum and Crystal Jaqueast Crum. Stella later married Jimmie Allen in October, 2009.

Stella loved God with everything she had. She did not have everything she desired in this life, but one thing she always possessed, and stood firm on, was her relationship with God. She took her walk with Him seriously and dedicated her life to pleasing Him. Even in moments of pain and uncertainty, she never took her eyes off God. She remained hopeful, trusting that He would always come through.

Stella had a smile and laugh that was truly contagious. She was humorous, honest, and direct in her communication, yet she operated in love. She never met a stranger, no matter where she went. Those who had the opportunity to meet her instantly loved her. She had a light that beamed brightly in every room she entered. Stella loved her girls deeply and did whatever it took to provide for and care for them. She loved her family and friends, and she was devoted to being the best mom, wife, sister, and friend she could be.

Stella was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Minor, and her daughter, Tracy Crum. God called Stella to eternal rest on December 3, 2025.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her beloved husband, Jimmie Allen; daughter, Crystal Jaqueast Morris; grandchildren, Isaiah (Veronica) McDowell and Caydence Morris; sister, Margaret Petty, and a host of family and friends.
