Steven Lucas

Steven "Stebo" Lucas was born the third of seven children to the late Elizabeth Lucas in Birmingham, Alabama on July 27, 1955.

Steve accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.

Steve was a graduate of J.S. Abrams High School Class of 1973 in Bessemer, Alabama. He enjoyed many years working in the maintenance and hospitality industry until his retirement.

Steve lived a simple life. A quiet man who loved his children, grandchildren and family. He was an avid sports fanatic who spent his time watching all the sports channels. During family game nights, Steve was the DJ who played the oldies but goodies and kept the party going.

Steve quietly and peacefully passed away on August 6, 2025, at home.

Steve leaves loving memories to be cherished by his three children, Ricco Lucas, Martina Hill, and Steven Baltimore, all of Birmingham, AL; ten grandchildren, Alexis Lucas, Aaliyah Lucas, Reese Duncan, Kozbi Duncan, Aubree Thomas, Steven Hill, Christian Hickenbottom, Kason Baltimore, Kameron Baltimore and Kaylee Baltimore; two great-grandchildren, Braylen Daniels and Jaxon Daniels; four sisters, Carolyn Lucas, Linda Norris, Bernetta Davis, and Gina Lucas of Bessemer, AL; two brothers, Anthony Lucas of Bessemer, AL and Ronald (Dorothy) Lucas of McCalla, AL; a very special friend, Dewayne Whitt and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
