Thomastine Lacey

Obituary
Sister Thomastine S. Lacey was born March 5, 1925 to the late Thomas and Clara Bell Stiggers. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Saint Mark AME Church where she served as a Class Leader and faithful member of the Senior Choir until her health began to decline. She loved music and was a fantastic cook.
During the time in her life where she was employed, Thomastine worked at UAB Hospital for 29 years as a Unit Clerk.
On Saturday, February 2, 2019 she was rewarded rest from her labor.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughters, Geraldine Stephenson, Regina Stephenson and Cheryl (Roland) Brown; stepdaughter, Mary James Fitts; sons, Randy (Michelle) Stephenson, Raymond Lacey, Sr. and Ralph Lacey; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
