A Godly life ended on October 29, 2025, when Toni Lanette Prince Hill transitioned to be with the Lord.
Toni was the third of four children born to the union of Fred Prince and Eula Lee Fisher Prince on February 16, 1959, in Bessemer, Alabama.
Toni had a true love for God. She confessed Christ at an early age on June 8, 1968. She was baptized and joined the 2nd Avenue Beulah Baptist Church.
Toni was a graduate of Jess Lanier High School, Class of 1977. After completing high school, she launched her career as an EMS Paramedic for the City of Bessemer. Being granted greater opportunities, she went on to become a Phlebotomist for the University Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. After working tirelessly and being truly dedicated to her profession, Toni retired after 25 years of service.
Toni had the personality and spirit that exuded love, kindness, and laughter. She was always ready and willing to give you kind words of wisdom. She was small in stature and loved the color of gold; a color in which she adorned beautifully with her hair and beautiful smile. Tonia had a distinct laughter that could fill any room. She was an awesome cook, known for her famous collard greens and chitlings.
Ms. Toni Hill leaves to cherish her memory a loving son, Harold Hill, Jr. of Bessemer, AL; father, Fred Prince of Bessemer, AL; sisters, Yolanda Spencer of Hueytown, AL and Gwenetta Bester of Ewa Beach, HI; brother, Fred, Jr. (Gloria) Prince of Colorado Springs, CO and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Toni was preceded in death by her mother, Eula Lee (Fisher) Prince.
