Wayne Lee was born to Namon Sr. and Charlie Mae Lee on September 20,1958 in Birmingham, Alabama. Wayne, the fifth of five children, he learned the importance of hard work from his parents. Wayne remained close throughout the years with his siblings and their families..
Wayne confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and joined the Bonner's Temple A.M.E. Church. Later, he joined South Park Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Donald R. Sellers, Sr. where he remained a faithful member until his death.
Wayne attended school at Roosevelt, A.G. Gaston and graduated from Wenonah High School in 1976. He also furthered his education at Bessemer Technical College where he completed a 2- Year Degree. Wayne was a dedicated worker for 25 years at Bruno's Warehouse until he retired. Also, he started a new journey at Sam's Club in 2008 until his retirement in March 2021.
Wayne departed this earthly life during the early morning of September 6, 2024. He was reunited with his parents, sister, Gloria Lee Moman and nephew, Orlando Miller.
Wayne leave precious memories to cherish a "Special Friend," Vickie Dillard; one daughter, Menachem Buie; one son, Christopher Lee; three brothers, William (Doris) Miller, Namon, Jr. (Gloria) Lee, Jerome, Sr. (Earnestine) Lee; three grandsons, Christian Lee, Brayden Lee-Buie and Julius Lee; five nephews, Raynard (Pamela) Miller, Vincent (Tangela) Lee, Paul Moman, III, LaJuanren (Chernavia) Griffin, Jerome, Jr. (Kim) Lee and Javorius (Katrina) Lee; three nieces, Raquel (Jeffery) Jones, Tawanna Lee and Shondra Moman and a host of great and great-great nephews, great and great-great nieces, other relatives and friends.
