Wilbert Taylor

Wilbert Taylor was born November 8, 1924 to the late Thomas and Rosie Taylor in Bessemer, Alabama. Wilbert confessed Christ at an early age and joined Allen Temple AME Church. He remained a faithful member and served as an Usher and on the Steward Board until his health failed him.
On April 17, 1953 Wilbert united in marriage to the late Maxine Taylor who preceded him in death on October 17, 2017. To this union God blessed the late Wilbert and Maxine with two sons Charlie Taylor and Alvin Taylor.
Wilbert worked for US pipe in Bessemer, Alabama for 30 years before his retirement.
Sunset for Mr. Wilbert Taylor came September 16, 2018 when God called him home.
Wilbert leaves memories to be cherished by: children, Charlie (Joycelyn) of Brighton, Alabama and Alvin (Valerie) Taylor of Bessemer, Alabama; grandchildren, Alvin Taylor Jr., Michael Taylor, Tricia Thomas and Delvena Scott; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
