Willie Witherspoon

Our beloved Willie Harry Witherspoon was born November 14, 1957 to the late Beulah and Eugene Witherspoon, Sr.
He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and attended Jerusalem #1 Baptist Church in Myrtlewood, Alabama.
Willie attended George P. Austin High School and was a proud graduate of Selma University.
Later, he moved to Birmingham and met Doris, the love of his life. They were joined in holy matrimony and to their union five beautiful children were born. While in Birmingham he worked in various fields and landed at Southern Ductile were he was a diligent worker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Witherspoon; son, James Richardson; three brothers andtwo sisters.
His memories will be forever cherished by: son, David; three daughters, Latonya, Naomi and Cielta; two sisters, Retter Witherspoon and Tamika McKenny; four brothers, Leroy, Richard, Tony and Patrick; ten grandchildren, Denoris, Jamie, Michelle, Jasmine, Monica, Timmesha, Sanchez, Keyon, Duane and Devonte; a special friend, Joyce and a host of nieces, nephew and friends.
